Chantrey Vellacott DFK’s business recovery and corporate finance services teams will operate out of the

firm’s offices on Hagley Road and were officially launched during a networking event held at Must

Restaurant in the city.

Partner Craig Povey is leading the top 25 accountancy practice’s four-strong Business Recovery team,

while partner Paul Fenner is now leading the corporate finance venture.

Povey is a specialist in corporate recovery and a licensed insolvency practitioner with more than 20 years

experience,

He said: “Chantrey Vellacott DFK has a growing reputation for providing practical solutions for

financially distressed and underperforming businesses and the launch of this new division will only help to

strengthen our offering in helping companies turn around.

“Our business recovery team will be working closely with Paul and the corporate finance division to

provide lasting solutions for troubled businesses and build on the strong support we already offer to clients

of all sizes.”

The launch, which was attended by around 100 business people from across the Midlands, follows the

merger of Chantrey Vellacott and Heathcote & Coleman last year.

Fenner added: “We have really gone from strength to strength since the merger last autumn and the launch

of these two divisions will further enhance the full range of services available to businesses across the West

Midlands.”
